To Return We Must

You’ve heard ashes to ashes
and dust to dust,
but we crawled out of the water
and to return we must.

So, as the droughts continue
and the land cracks and dries,
stay close to the water
if you value your lives.

We love the Southwest
with deserts and mountains galore
but fresh water is best
and as I’ve said before

you’ve heard ashes to ashes
and dust to dust,
but we crawled out of the water
and to return we must.

  1. Gives added thought for our plan to locate in NM half-year! Have booked into VRBO Hacienda Fiala* in Corrales (outside ABQ) from Jan.4-May 4 with intention to look around to buy something downsized….like this mammoth Gulliver house will sell in the slow mkt. here. Cannot find the # w/o waking Steve. More later. Noodling at Krazy Kondo in Jenison around a Saturday wedding (16 May) In Lawton, MI. Cross paths?? In Mi or much later, the Southwest. Did I tell you we climbed the lower Tent Rocks trail after seeing your pics? I have the bug now for climbing, but not the bod. Will do lotsa beach walks and climb with my “sticks” for 2016! Mind over titanium matter!
