It is said that ignorance

is bliss,

and while that gives me

fits

given global warming

and fossil fuel

emits,

I see on T.V. commercials

cars flying by with a

hiss

and it makes me wish

once again for

this –

the rush I used to feel

and that state of heavenly

bliss

of seeing myself behind

the wheel roaring past

the Indy 500

pits.
