Waiting for the Dune Grass Dance

Dune grass,
Once blowing in the wind,
Leans to the west,
Wind from the east,
Snow halfway up the blades,
Still in frozen splendor
Like a thousand immobile mimes
Getting ready to lean east
All at the same time
When the snow melts and
The west wind blows.
